When "Suggest a Meal" is most useful
It helps most when you have plenty of food but no idea what to make: at the end of the week when you want to use up what is left, or when you just need a quick dinner idea without planning from scratch. Instead of listing ingredients yourself, you show the app a photo and it offers ready-made suggestions.
How the flow works
1. Take a photo
Snap the inside of your fridge, a shelf, or the pantry — the products just need to be visible.
2. Set your preferences
Choose difficulty, prep time, and how many ingredients may be missing before you run the analysis.
What the suggestions include
Each meal idea comes with a short description, an estimated time and calories, the ingredients you already have, and a highlighted "Missing (worth buying)" list. So you immediately know whether you can make it right away or need to pick up an item or two.
From an idea to a full recipe
You can expand a chosen idea into a full recipe. Set the number of servings (for adults and children) and the app scales the proportions, shows nutrition per portion, and prepares step-by-step instructions.
What to keep in mind
Suggestions, calories, and nutrition values are estimated by artificial intelligence (AI), so they may be inaccurate or contain errors. Treat them as inspiration and a starting point, and for allergies, intolerances, or diet-related health conditions always check the labels of the products you use and rely on common sense.
Important safety note
Information shown in meal suggestions and recipes, including ingredients, missing items, estimated calories, and nutrition values, is assistive only. It may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect due to source-data limitations, parsing errors, or AI errors.
The absence of a warning, or the suggestion itself, is not proof that a dish is suitable for you. Always verify the current labels of the products you use and manufacturer information, especially for allergies, intolerances, or diet-related health conditions.
FAQ
Do I need every ingredient in the photo?
No. You can set how many ingredients may be missing — AI will suggest dishes that need only one or two extra items.
Is the recipe scaled to the number of people?
Yes. You enter the number of adults and children, and the app scales ingredient proportions and nutrition per portion.
Are the suggestions always accurate?
No. They are AI estimates that help you decide quickly what to cook, but they do not replace a verified recipe or product labels.
